Guidance Process

Friday 29 JanuaryStaff are currently writing the reports and we hope to get them to you by Friday 29 January. The purpose of sending home the reports this early is so that students and parents can make informed choices about their future courses.
Friday 26 FebruaryLast day for option sheets to be handed in to tutors so that we can analyse and calculate group sizes. We will subsequently make contact with any students who might not have been able to gain every choice; this can occur because a class might not run or because an outside course is oversubscribed. Last year 90% of the students gained all their options and only about 9% had to choose one replacement.
March/April 2010Students wishing to take a course at the Wealden Skills Centre will be interviewed by Connexions staff and Wealden Skills staff before being offered a place.

Yours sincerely

Mrs L StewardMs S Dennison
